Communications Manager (m/f/x)
Intro
Aid Pioneers, a Berlin-based humanitarian aid organization, is looking for a dynamic Communications Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic communications, content creation, and project management. The role involves managing brand development projects, implementing communication strategies, producing high-quality content, maintaining the organization's website, building media relationships, promoting events, and more. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in communications or related fields, proficiency in visual content creation tools, website management experience, and fluency in English and German. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to an NGO making a tangible impact, collaborate with a growing team, and develop management and creative skills in a dynamic work environment in Berlin.
Tasks
- Manage brand development projects and coordinate with agencies and external talent
- Develop and implement multi-channel communications strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Produce and manage high-quality written and visual content for various communication channels
- Maintain organization's website and ensure content is up-to-date and engaging
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets and handle media inquiries
- Plan and execute strategies to promote events and maximize their impact
- Support communications with donors, partners, and stakeholders
- Oversee internal communications to ensure effective information flow within the organization
- Track and analyze the performance of communication strategies and campaigns
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful communications strategies
- Proficiency in visual content creation tools such as Adobe Suite, Canva, or similar
- Experience in website management and content management systems (CMS)
- Experience with email marketing and CRM tools, particularly Mailchimp
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Fluency in English and German
- Self-starter with proactive and independent work ethic
- Experience with project management and working with external agencies and talent
- Knowledge of performance metrics and analytics tools
