Finance & Administration Manager
Intro
The Finance & Administration Manager 1 is responsible for overseeing financial resources, administrative activities, and human resources support in a delegation/structure. The role involves ensuring financial integrity, managing premises, supervising staff travel, and acting as an advisor on financial matters. Additionally, the manager is accountable for maintaining ICRC standards in property management, supporting HR functions, and participating in risk assessment and mitigation measures. The position requires a university degree in business administration, finance/accounting, or human resources, along with 3 years of practical experience in finance, management, or human resources.
Tasks
- Ensure application of financial procedures
- Supervise the work of the Finance in charge (bookkeeping)
- Act as adviser, trainer, and coach on financial matters
- Perform cash supervision and expenses control
- Support in establishing and updating Risk Assessment
- Supervise premises management and renovation works
- Participate in recruiting interviews and conflict management
- Perform appraisals for various roles
- Maintain communication among staff
- Provide JDs for Finance and Admin team
- Support HR and LnD teams
- Brief interlocutors on policy and procedures
Requirements
- University degree in business administration, finance/accounting, or human resources
- Diploma in accounting (CPA/CMA or similar) an asset
- Fluent in English and French
- 3 years' practical experience in finance, management, or human resources
- 1 year in financial accounting/controlling
- 1 year ICRC field experience
- Experience in an international working environment
