About the Role

We are looking for an IT Specialist Virtual Workplace (m/f/d) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and operation of our virtual workplace solutions. You will ensure a seamless and efficient user experience for our employees, regardless of their location.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for virtual workplace technologies.
• Develop and maintain documentation for virtual workplace environments.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure integration and compatibility of systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in virtual workplace solutions.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to virtual resources.
• Monitor system performance and implement optimizations.
• Contribute to the development of IT policies and procedures related to the virtual workplace.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience with VDI technologies (e.g., VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in German and English.
