Your responsibilities
Build and operate Marvel Fusion's ecosystem and alliance program, modelled on leading industry alliance programs: partner mapping, alliance governance, onboarding, and working-group cadence.
Structure and advance technology collaborations aligned to the roadmap, including MoUs, JDAs, and joint development agreements, with judgement on partner selection, timing and location.
Own selected strategic partnerships and programs directly, including the Fusion Hubs.
Lead the coordination and delivery of public funding projects (IPCEI, Milestone-based-funding, Hubs): consortium setup, partner steering, manage internal bid narrative creation, and submission against fixed external deadlines.
Maintain the funding and partnership pipeline: a live view of instruments and prospective partners, with go or no-go recommendations against roadmap fit together with Corporate Affairs
Represent Marvel Fusion with industry partners, research institutes, consortia and Projektträger.
What you bring
University degree in engineering, industrial engineering, physics or a related technical field. A combined technical and business background is welcome.

3+ years in technology partnerships, consortium management, public funding or corporate development in a technical or industrial environment.
Demonstrated experience building or operating a partner or alliance programme, not only managing individual bilateral relationships.
Track record with German or EU public funding (BMBF, BMWK, Horizon Europe, IPCEI or comparable), including consortium setup and partner steering.
Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders across industry partners, research institutes and consortia, and to assemble input from people who do not report to them.
Strong technical understanding and genuine affinity for deep tech topics; can hold a substantive conversation with physicists and engineers.
Commercially literate: reads a project budget, structures a consortium cost split, and supports negotiation of an MoU.
