Position Summary:

Teacher of MYP Mathematics

Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics in grades six and seven

• Communicate and meet with parents

• Record and share with parents assessment data at regular intervals during the school year

• Collaborate with colleagues from within and outside of the Mathematics department

• Engage in professional development

• Participate in departmental and other meetings

• Contribute to the ISH community

• Create and update unit plans and place them in the appropriate location

Qualifications :

Applicants must have suitable subject and teaching qualifications. A graduate degree in Mathematics would

be advantageous. Significant experience teaching within the IB framework and training in current

methodology in the teaching of middle school students is preferred, as is some experience or familiarity

with ManageBac.

We are seeking applicants who are familiar with data -driven decision making or a willing mindset to learn

how to do so. We seek an educator who welcomes students and their differences, loves teaching and

learning and creates an engaging learning environment.

Terms of Employment:

● Starting date is 1 August 2026

● The position is initially limited until 31 July 2027, with an option for extension

● The position is a part -time position
