As a science brand, we are best known for our distinctive animated videos and our elaborate products around the kurzgesagt theme worlds. Through our globally successful YouTube channel with over 25 million subscribers, we aim to inspire people around the world about science and make knowledge accessible and exciting. We believe that well-researched facts are just as important as humor and good storytelling. Nothing in the universe is boring if you tell a good story.

Currently our international team consists of about 70 great colleagues. Our production team is looking for support as:

Senior Producer (all genders)

Location: Munich, Berlin or remote within Germany

How to make an impact - in a nutshell

1. Senior Producer / Senior Project Manager for the video production of our YouTube channel and other social media platforms
2. Independent management of projects in the field of video production in close cooperation with internal creative teams
3. Project coordination, including the creation of timelines, definition of milestones, as well as budget and resource planning
4. Project controlling and reporting: monitoring of costs, milestones, deadlines, as well as performance tracking
5. Coordination and communication with external vendors

What you are best known for

1. You have at least 3 years of relevant professional experience (such as Producer/Project Manager) in the YouTube/social media field or similar
2. You confidently drive large-scale production projects forward with an independent, proactive, and forward-thinking mindset
3. You are highly skilled at aligning and coordinating interdisciplinary teams to ensure project success
4. You act as the central hub for information, ensuring smooth coordination and alignment with all internal and external stakeholders
