AD Ambulante Dienste gGmbH is an established outpatient care service in the heart of Kiel, operating as a non-profit GmbH (gGmbH) and part of the Ringzentrum Kiel.[4][5][6] The sole shareholder is WUB – Werk- und Betreuungsstätte für Körperbehinderte gGmbH, which in turn belongs to the Paritätischen Landesverband Schleswig-Holstein e.V. This underscores the strong orientation towards social and disability-related values.[5][7] The company is dedicated to promoting assistance for people with disabilities, especially physical and/or multiple disabilities, and supports people in need in their desire for independent living at home.[2][4][7]
The main task of the AD care team is the direct support, advice and care of people with disabilities, the sick and those in need – from young adults to older people.[2][4] The care is strictly oriented to the individual needs of the clients: type, scope and timing are defined and documented in the care contract.[2] Reliability, quality assurance and close cooperation with therapy areas (e.g. physiotherapy and occupational therapy) are at the center.[1][3][4] Values such as empathy, competence and flexibility characterize the actions – a highly qualified team of certified nurses, geriatric nurses, nursing assistants, caregivers and assistant staff ensures this around the clock.[2] The nursing service management (Susanne Affeld) and her deputy (Bea Thieme) take over the organization, quality control and personnel deployment to ensure optimal care and client satisfaction.[2]
The broad range of services covers all areas of outpatient care: medical treatment, basic care and domestic help.[1][4] These include:
Through the intensive cooperation of care and therapy in the Ringzentrum, often lost skills can be regained through activation and mobilization – a decisive advantage for the independence of the clients.[1]
As a non-profit company, AD Ambulante Dienste pursues sustainable goals in disability assistance and care provision, which aim at long-term promotion and inclusion.[5][7] The focus on preventive measures, rehabilitation and holistic care minimizes dependencies and strengthens the autonomy of people in need.[1][2] Partnerships with therapy offers (ad-kiel-therapie.de) and higher-level organizations such as the Paritätischen Werk promote resource-saving, community-based care models.[4][5] Current initiatives include quality management according to SGB XI (§ 114, § 37, § 45b) and continuous training of the team to ensure the highest standards in an aging society.[1][2]
AD Ambulante Dienste gGmbH embodies commitment to a dignified life at home: With heart, competence and a comprehensive offer, the team is the ideal companion in challenging phases of life.[2][4] (2487 characters incl. spaces)
