ADHS Deutschland e. V. is the oldest and largest self-help organization for people with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in Germany. The association has been volunteering for almost four decades to support those affected and their families.
The association's mission is to support people with ADHD and their families in everyday life, to expand knowledge about ADHD and to promote broad public awareness. The association is committed to a quality-assured, comprehensive and transparent care system that is oriented towards the needs of those affected. The association's values include helping people to help themselves, scientific principles and political neutrality.
ADHS Deutschland e. V. is constantly working to improve the quality of life for people with ADHD. This includes promoting further training programs for group leaders and developing contemporary care and counseling concepts. The association also operates its own publishing house to disseminate scientifically sound information. Collaboration with other organizations and professional associations strengthens the advocacy of people with ADHD.
Through its many years of experience and commitment, ADHS Deutschland e. V. has played a central role in supporting and educating about ADHD in Germany. The association offers not only practical help, but also a platform for the exchange and networking of those affected and experts.
