Die Akademie der Bayerischen Presse (ABP) is a leading further education institution for journalists and specialists from the fields of Public Relations and corporate communications. It offers a wide range of seminars and webinars, which include both face-to-face events and online formats. The program is aimed at young professionals, trainees, trainees and experienced professionals who want to expand their knowledge and skills in the fields of journalism, PR and communication.
The ABP's range of seminars covers a wide range of topics, including journalistic forms of presentation, online journalism, social media, content marketing, crisis communication, media law, SEO, AI in journalism and much more. A particular focus is on current developments and trends in the media industry, such as the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in content creation and distribution.
The ABP attaches importance to practice-oriented further education and works with experienced lecturers who are experts in their respective fields. In addition to open seminars, the academy also offers in-house training courses that can be specially tailored to the needs of editorial offices, PR departments and companies.
Die Akademie der Bayerischen Presse is funded by the Free State of Bavaria and supported by a support association, which, among other things, awards an annual reportage, feature and multimedia prize. The ABP strives to equip journalists and communicators with the necessary tools and knowledge to be successful in a constantly changing media landscape.
