The Caritas gGmbH St. Heinrich und Kunigunde is a non-profit organization that is committed to seniors, people with disabilities, children and young people in the region as a strong community. As a 100% subsidiary of the Caritasverband for the Archdiocese of Bamberg, the company bundles and strengthens the services and facilities under its sponsorship and offers around 1,700 employees a long-term perspective and a wide range of development opportunities.
The range of services offered by Caritas gGmbH includes a wide spectrum of social facilities: 16 inpatient care facilities, an outpatient care service, four day care centers, four daycare centers, a youth welfare facility with several locations and the Heilpädagogische Zentrum in Lichtenfels with eight facilities and two special education schools. In this way, the company supports people in all phases of life and promotes an inclusive society.
