The Amt Darß/Fischland is a municipal service provider that takes care of the public affairs of its member municipalities. It is located on the beautiful Fischland-Darß-Zingst peninsula in the Vorpommern-Rügen district. The district includes the municipalities of Ahrenshoop, Born a. Darß, Dierhagen, Prerow, Wieck a. Darß and Wustrow, which together have about 6,800 inhabitants. Around 2.5 million guests visit the region every year, attracted by the untouched nature in the Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft National Park and the kilometers of beaches.
