The Andheri Hilfe e.V. was founded in 1967 in Bonn by Rosi Gollmann, with the initial goal of securing the daily care of about 800 orphans at St. Catherine’s Home in Andheri, Mumbai. Since its founding, the organization has continuously evolved and expanded its focus from purely charitable aid to a partnership-based development cooperation. Today, Andheri Hilfe is a recognized and independent organization committed to the sustainable promotion of people in India, Bangladesh, and Nepal[1][2][4].
