• Lobbying and Public Relations: The association engages in active lobbying and public relations work and seeks constructive cooperation with politics, authorities, the economy, and civil society actors to promote the implementation and safeguarding of the principle of equal treatment[2].
• Research and Documentation: The advd regularly publishes reports and analyses, such as the "Civil Society Situation Report on Anti-Discrimination," to illuminate the extent and dimension of discrimination experiences in Germany and derive targeted recommendations for action.

• Podcast Series and Digital File: The advd produces podcast series on topics such as anti-discrimination and diversity orientation and has developed a "Digital File," a documentation software that assists in the evaluation and documentation of discrimination cases[5].
• Expert Day and Publications: The association organizes expert days and publishes materials to present the results of its analyses and discuss options for action with subject matter experts.
