The Workers' Welfare Association (AWO Hessen-Süd) is a non-partisan and non-denominational association of free welfare services. It is committed to helping people of all generations and is represented in Southern Hesse with over 100 facilities.
The main mission of AWO is to help those in need and disadvantaged people and to improve their living situation. Values such as solidarity, inclusion, and social justice are at the forefront[5].
AWO places great importance on occupational health management (bGM) and occupational reintegration management (BEM) to promote the health and well-being of employees[3].
