The AYUDAME Kinderhilfswerk Arequipa e.V. is a non-profit organization that has been committed to supporting and promoting children and adolescents from socially disadvantaged families in Arequipa, Peru, since its founding by Sieglinde Pausewang.
AYUDAME operates the daycare center "Nuestro Hogar" (Our Home) in Arequipa, where about 100 children and adolescents aged two years to the end of their schooling are cared for. The daycare provides full-day care for preschool children and half-day care for school children. The goal is to promote child-friendly development and expand educational opportunities so that these children can lead an independent and self-determined life.
