The Ballin Stiftung is a non-profit organization for child and youth welfare in Hamburg, which has been committed to the promotion of children and adolescents since 1925. The foundation was established from the estate of Eugenie Pappenheim, who wanted to help underprivileged children in honor of her deceased husband Rudolf Ballin.
The Main Mission of the Ballin Stiftung is to enable children and adolescents to lead an independent life. The foundation is guided by a humanistic view of humanity and promotes diversity and democracy. It rejects inhumane ideologies.
