The Baugenossenschaft Kolping eG is a traditional housing company based in Hamburg that has been creating affordable housing for families and members since 1948. Originating from the initiative of the Kolping family, the cooperative has since pursued the mission of providing secure, affordable and livable housing options, especially in times of housing shortage. Today, the KOLPING eG manages over 750 apartments in various Hamburg districts from Langenhorn to Harburg and provides more than 950 members with housing at average favorable rents of around €6.11 per square meter.
