The BZSL e.V. (Federal Center for Self-Determined Living) is a volunteer-run self-help organization founded in 1990 in the spirit of the self-determined living movement in Germany. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support and advice to people with disabilities and/or chronic illnesses, as well as their relatives and friends.
Our goal is for every person to have the opportunity to participate in social life in a self-determined and inclusive manner and to help shape society. We advocate for equal human dignity and protection against discrimination, especially in migration policy. Our work is based on the principles of self-determination, inclusion, and participation[1][2].
The BZSL e.V. is a central point of contact for people seeking self-determination, inclusion, and support, and tirelessly advocates for the improvement of living conditions and social participation of people with disabilities.
