The Hochschule Bielefeld (HSBI) is a University of Applied Sciences and Arts, characterized by close cooperation with industry, business, and social and cultural institutions in Ostwestfalen. At the three locations Bielefeld, Minden and Gütersloh, the HSBI offers a wide range of degree programs in the fields of Design, Campus Minden, Engineering and Mathematics, Social Sciences, Economics and Health.
The HSBI places great emphasis on an excellent learning environment. Small study groups enable individual support and assistance for students. Special study centers, the university library and student workplaces contribute to an optimal learning atmosphere.
Special attention is paid to internationality. The International Office supports students and staff during stays abroad and looks after international guests at the HSBI. The Language Center offers language courses and translation services. Through the "International Week" and cooperation with partner universities worldwide, the HSBI promotes international and intercultural exchange.
