The Bonner Verein für Pflege- und Gesundheitsberufe e.V. is a non-profit organization that has been actively working for years to secure skilled workers in nursing. With over 400 trainees, the association is one of the largest and most innovative nursing schools in the Bonn region and the Rhein-Sieg-Kreis.
The main mission of the Bonner Verein is to offer needs-oriented training and further education in nursing and thus contribute to securing skilled workers in this field. The association places great importance on close cooperation with over 100 cooperation partners from inpatient and outpatient nursing facilities to ensure a mutually beneficial exchange regarding the conditions and requirements for securing skilled workers.
The association is networked locally, regionally, and at the state level and advocates for the social and political recognition of the nursing profession. Supporting migrants in entering the nursing profession and assisting volunteers as neighborhood helpers and patient companions are further central aspects of the work.
