The Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchhandels is the central umbrella organization of the German book industry. Founded in 1825, it now represents the interests of publishers, booksellers and intermediate booksellers. The association is based in Frankfurt am Main and is organized in six regional associations and a regional office in NRW.
