The Brandenburgischer IT-Dienstleister (ZIT-BB) is the central IT service provider for the direct state administration of Brandenburg. As a state enterprise with approximately 400 employees, it has been assigned to the Ministry of Justice and Digitalization since February 2025. The ZIT-BB offers comprehensive IT services aimed at making administration efficient and digital.
The main mission of the ZIT-BB is to provide an efficient and professional IT service for the Brandenburg state administration. Values such as efficiency, professionalism and customer satisfaction are paramount. The ZIT-BB supports the digitalization of administration by providing basic IT components for the state and municipalities.
The ZIT-BB promotes the digitalization of administration through the Brandenburg E-Government Act (BbgEGovG), which aims to provide basic IT components across the board for the state and municipalities. This also includes intensifying cooperation with municipalities in the area of IT security. Through the use of modern technologies and the continuous expansion of the IT infrastructure, the ZIT-BB contributes to the sustainable development of the administration.
