About Brügger Hof

The Brügger Hof is an established provider of child and youth services that has been supporting children and young people in challenging life situations since 1991. With a team of around 150 employees at eleven locations in Schleswig-Holstein and Brandenburg, the Brügger Hof offers a wide range of support services.

The focus is on promoting children and young people to become socially competent, responsible and self-determined individuals. The Brügger Hof supports young people in mastering their age-appropriate developmental tasks, regardless of individual obstacles and disorders.

The offer includes both inpatient and outpatient assistance. Inpatient services are aimed at children from 4 years and adolescents with significant developmental deficits, school problems or personality disorders. They are intensively cared for and supported in various group homes and residential groups. Outpatient services, including learning therapy services for school reintegration, are available to children from 6 years and adolescents who can continue to live in their family environment. A special focus is on the independence of young people from the age of 16, who are prepared for an independent life within the framework of intensively supervised living and individual living.

The Brügger Hof pursues a holistic approach in which development-promoting and pedagogical methods effectively interlock. The aim is to strengthen the self-confidence of children and young people, to strengthen their understanding of values and norms and to enable them to experience self-efficacy. The employees of the Brügger Hof benefit from a wide range of further training opportunities that promote their professional and personal development.
