Bundeskonferenz Migrantenorganisationen

The Bundeskonferenz der Migrantenorganisationen (BKMO) is a central association of over 70 migrant organizations in Germany. Founded in November 2017 in Berlin, the BKMO serves as a political discussion forum for integration to give more voice to the migration landscape and to provide political impulses.

The main mission of the BKMO is to represent the interests of people with a migration background in Germany and to promote a future-oriented, participation-oriented policy. The BKMO advocates for migrant organizations to be included as important civil society actors in all relevant decision-making processes of the respective federal ministries. The focus is on strengthening the participation and integration of people with a migration background in German society.
