Bundesweite Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Psychiatrie-Erfahrenen (BAPE)

The Federal Working Group "Exit to Entry" e.V. (BAG Ausstieg) is a nationwide umbrella organization of associations and civil society organizations that specialize in exit and distancing assistance from far-right contexts. Founded in 2017, BAG Ausstieg is headquartered in Jena and works independently of political parties to promote civil society structures in the field of right-wing extremism prevention and crime prevention.

• Consultation and Exit Support: BAG Ausstieg offers individual and flexible exit assistance for people who want to leave the far-right scene or distance themselves from these attitudes. These consultations are voluntary, free of charge, and confidential.
• Quality Standards: The organization has developed comprehensive quality standards for exit and distancing work, which include transparency, data protection, independence, and the competence of the counseling teams.
• Training and Specialist Conferences: BAG Ausstieg regularly organizes training and specialist conferences for professionals to professionalize the handling of far-right attitudes and behaviors.
• Networking and Cooperation: The members of BAG Ausstieg are networked locally, regionally, and nationally, enabling needs-based and individual exit assistance.

The main mission of BAG Ausstieg is to support people in their exit from the far-right scene and to accompany them on a path towards a way of life that is compatible with the fundamental values of democracy and plurality. The organization advocates for critical engagement with inhumane attitudes, distancing, and the renunciation of violence.
