The Bündnis für Bildung (BfB) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and advancing the digital transformation in teaching and learning in Germany.
The main mission of the BfB is to make the opportunities of digital media, tools, and communication methods more accessible and usable for all participants in the educational process. The organization is independent of companies and serves as a neutral interface between the education industry and the public sector. The work of the BfB is based on the values of interdisciplinarity, neutrality, and the inclusion of all relevant stakeholders in the educational landscape[1][2].
The BfB is continuously engaged in current educational policy discussions. Examples include participation in education fairs such as LEARNTEC 2024 and the publication of position papers on digital and educational policy issues, particularly in the context of the EU election campaign and the development of Digital Pact 2.0[2].
Through its broad membership base, which includes IT companies, publishers, startups, educational institutions, and representatives of the public sector, the Bündnis für Bildung makes a significant contribution to shaping the future of education in Germany.
