Camphill Alt-Schönow is an established anthroposophical integration assistance facility in the south of Berlin. For over thirty years, it has been offering people with support needs a place to live and work for guidance and support. Camphill Alt-Schönow promotes inclusive media work and uses assistive technologies to improve the communication and participation of residents. Through voluntary commitment and the expansion of the facility, work is continuously being done to create an inclusive community life.
The facility lives co-determination and participation through the residents' advisory board. Violence prevention and the protection of residents are central aspects of the work. Camphill Alt-Schönow is part of the worldwide Camphill movement, which enables people with special needs to develop their full potential.
