Caritasverband Altena-Lüdenscheid e.V.

The Caritasverband has set itself the goal of becoming climate neutral by 2030. The initiatives include:

• E-Mobility: The vehicle fleet is being converted to e-mobility to reduce the CO2 footprint.
• Green Electricity: All facilities have been sourcing electricity from Renewable Energies since 2021.
• Food Rescue: The day center rescues food to reduce FOOD WASTE and at the same time prepare meals for those in need.
• Upcycling: Projects like EiNZIGWARE promote sustainable upcycling and create jobs for people with disabilities.
