The Christophorus Hospiz Verein e. V. is dedicated to supporting seriously ill and dying people and their relatives. The focus is on holistic care that takes into account physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs. The association offers outpatient hospice work to enable a dignified life to the end in a familiar environment.

The main mission of the Christophorus Hospiz Verein is to assist the dying and their families, to alleviate pain and to take away fears. The work is based on the individual needs and wishes of those affected. The central values include dignity, respect, empathy and respect for the self-determination of the individual.

The association is committed to an open discussion of the topics of dying, death and mourning in society. Through educational offers and public relations work, awareness of the importance of hospice work is strengthened and a dignified approach to the end of life is promoted. Volunteer employees play a key role in the work of the association and are carefully trained and supported.

The Christophorus Hospiz Verein e. V. is committed to improving the quality of life until the end and makes an important contribution to palliative care in the region.
