CONCORDIA Sozialprojekte is an international, non-profit organization that has been dedicated to improving the living conditions of disadvantaged children, adolescents, and families in Europe since its founding on October 14, 1991. Founded by Father Georg Sporschill SJ in Romania, the organization has since expanded to several countries, including Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Bulgaria, the Republic of Moldova, and Kosovo.

The main mission of CONCORDIA Sozialprojekte is to support children, adolescents, and families in need on their path to an independent life. Today, CONCORDIA Sozialprojekte cares for approximately 15,000 children and adolescents annually with over 550 employees. The organization is active in the poorest countries in Europe and has further expanded in recent years, most recently with the establishment of foundations in Germany and Switzerland as well as the initiation of activities in Kosovo[2][3][4].
