Der Kinderschutzbund Frankfurt has been advocating for children's rights and child protection since 1954. With a variety of services, it supports children, parents, and families in need. Committed employees and volunteers promote a child-friendly society and work towards the implementation of the UN Children's Rights.
Der Kinderschutzbund Frankfurt, founded in 1954, is a district association of the German Child Protection Association e.V. and has established itself as one of the largest and most active child protection associations in Germany. With around 50,000 individual members, 16 state associations, and over 430 local associations, the Child Protection Association works politically neutral and interdenominationally for the rights, needs, and interests of all children.
Our main mission is to promote the protection of children from violence, combat child poverty, and implement children's rights in Germany. We see ourselves as a lobby for children and advocate that every decision, planning, and measure affecting children and adolescents includes their participation. Our goal is a child-friendly society in which the mental, psychological, social, and physical development of children and adolescents is promoted.
Der Kinderschutzbund Frankfurt is involved in numerous sustainable projects and initiatives:
Der Kinderschutzbund Frankfurt is currently celebrating 70 years of its existence and continues to advocate for innovative and needs-oriented projects. Examples include benefit events such as the "Crawling Blanket Concert" on World Children's Day and collaboration with partners like Morgan Stanley to build bridges for young people and ease their start in life.
With a team of 27 full-time employees and around 360 members and over 300 volunteers, we continuously work to promote a child-friendly society and strengthen children's rights.
