The Deutsche Allianz Meeresforschung (DAM) is an innovative alliance, founded in 2019 by the federal government and the five northern German states of Bremen, Hamburg, Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The headquarters of DAM is located in Berlin.
The DAM is committed to promoting sustainable management of coasts, seas, and oceans through comprehensive research, data management, digitalization, and the coordination of infrastructures.
