The DIANA Kliniken AG looks back on a long tradition in outpatient and inpatient patient care. Its history began in 1971 with the founding of DIANA Kurhotel -Sanatorium GmbH & Co. KG in Bad Bevensen, in the immediate vicinity of the Jod-Sole-Therme. Starting from a central clinic building with 400 beds, which opened in 1974, the company expanded continuously through the acquisition of further clinic buildings and the construction of a nursing home. In 2003, it was converted into DIANA Kliniken AG.
The DIANA Kliniken AG is aware of the importance of good and responsible corporate governance and sees this as an integral part of its daily work. A transparent and trusting relationship with all stakeholders of the company is of great importance. The company's goals are long-term and serve the well-being of the company, its owners, lenders, customers, suppliers, patients, employees, as well as society and its citizens. Proven best-practice principles are taken into account.
The quality of treatment and the well-being of patients and users have top priority. In order to continuously improve the medical performance processes, a Critical Incident Reporting System (CIRS) is used as part of risk and quality management. This system enables the anonymized reporting of critical events and near misses, the results of which are regularly analyzed and used to derive improvement measures.
Responsible and sustainable action is an essential part of the corporate culture. The DIANA Kliniken AG attaches great importance to meeting both its ethical and legal responsibilities. In order to promote this and anchor it throughout the organization, a group-wide Compliance Management System is being developed, which is intended to call on every employee to regularly compare their behavior with the basic values of the corporate culture and to adhere to them.
The DIANA Kliniken AG advocates and supports the equality of women and men in society, politics and business. When filling positions, a corresponding balance of both genders is always sought and the proportion of women in management positions is increased as far as possible.
