didacta is the most important trade fair and further education event in the education sector in Europe, bringing together all areas of education from early childhood development to school and extracurricular education to vocational training and further education as well as lifelong learning. Every year, around 740 exhibitors from around 60 countries and over 65,000 trade visitors come together to present innovative pedagogical concepts, teaching materials, technologies and services and to exchange ideas in over 1,600 events such as seminars, lectures and discussion panels.
The trade fair functions as a central industry meeting point for pedagogical specialists, education providers, decision-makers, political representatives, scientists and business representatives. As a platform, didacta promotes open dialogue, networking and mutual learning in order to jointly shape the future of education and tackle current challenges.
The sponsorship lies with Didacta Verband e.V., which acts as an interest group for around 250 companies and organizations in the education industry at home and abroad. Under the patronage of the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Education, didacta strengthens the visibility and innovative strength of the German education system nationally and internationally.
