The Elterninitiative Wurm & Sturm e.V. in Wiesbaden offers loving and familiar care for children from a few months old until they start school. In two age-appropriate groups, the toddler group (Regenbogengruppe) for children up to 3.5 years and the open elementary group (Drachengruppe) for children from 2.5 years, a total of 30 children are cared for by a team of six educators and Diplom-Pädagogen/Pädagoginnen.
The Kita places great emphasis on a warm atmosphere in which children can feel comfortable and develop. There are diverse play and exercise opportunities both indoors and outdoors. A special feature is the shared breakfast, where children enjoy a varied buffet with healthy foods. Lunch is provided by an organic caterer, ensuring a balanced diet.
As an Elterninitiative, Wurm & Sturm is a registered, non-profit association whose purpose is to promote education. The parents are actively involved in the daily kindergarten routine and help shape it. The cooperation of the parents promotes a close and trusting collaboration between educators and families.
The pedagogical work aims to playfully prepare the children for school and promote their independence. Individual familiarization is taken into account to make the transition to the Kita as smooth as possible.
Wurm & Sturm values open and appreciative communication and welcomes friends and supporters who support the daily Kita routine.
