The Energy Agency Region Freiburg GmbH has been a key player in the field of energy saving and the use of renewable energies in the Freiburg im Breisgau region since 1999. As a competent advisor, we support municipalities, businesses, churches, the housing industry, and private homeowners on their path to climate neutrality.

Our goal is to contribute to energy saving and the use of renewable energies through comprehensive information work, competent advice, and the implementation of pilot projects. We work interdisciplinary and proactively to prepare the economic region of Southern Baden for the requirements of a modern energy economy. Our work serves exclusively public purposes and is aimed at promoting climate protection and sustainability.

• Energy Consulting and Concepts: We offer individual energy consultations, building checks, and comprehensive renovation roadmaps to ensure efficient and sustainable energy supply.
• Funding Programs and Energy Management: We assist with applications for funding and provide energy management services, including detailed planning, tendering, and construction execution control.
• Climate Protection Concepts: We develop target group-specific climate protection concepts for municipalities, businesses, and private households to promote the transition to a climate-neutral economy.
• Heat Planning and Supply: We advise on municipal heat planning and support the implementation of heat pumps and other efficient heating systems.
• Photovoltaics and Solar Thermal Energy: We provide guidelines and consultations for the installation and optimization of photovoltaic systems and solar thermal systems.

• Climate Neutrality by 2030: We support businesses and municipalities in achieving their climate neutrality goals through comprehensive advice and project support.
