Eulalia Eigensinn

Eulalia Eigensinn e.V. is a women's center in Berlin-Spandau that has been active since its founding in 1987 as a women's self-help and neighborhood project. Our goal is to create a safe and supportive space for all women who want to meet, exchange, and network with each other in a violence-free and equal manner.

• Specialized Counseling: We offer comprehensive counseling services on topics such as domestic violence, parenting, social issues, and psychosocial support. This includes telephone and in-person consultations, assistance in finding shelters, long-term psychosocial counseling and support, as well as legal advice in family and criminal law[2][4].
• Group Offers: We organize various group offers, including self-help groups, guided groups, and trauma-sensitive children's groups for children who have experienced violence[2][4].
• Networks and Coordination Centers: We operate a coordination center for the Spandau network against domestic violence and a network for refugee women with experiences of violence. Additionally, there is a contact and coordination center for single parents[2][4].

Our mission is to provide support and guidance to women in all life situations, especially those affected by violence. We advocate for equality and self-determination of women and promote a culture of mutual respect and networking. Our interdisciplinary, intercultural, and multilingual team ensures that our services are accessible to all women, regardless of their background or language[2][4].

• Humanitarian Aid: During the Russian war in Ukraine, we organize transports with medical emergency supplies and have already delivered over 1,600 first aid kits to Ukraine[1].
• Funding through Donations: Part of our work is funded by donations, which enable us to cover urgently needed expenses for women who must flee domestic violence. These donations also support our annual group trips and various other projects[2].
