The Evangelisches Kinder- und Jugendhaus gGmbH is a versatile youth welfare institution headquartered in Bochum. The institution offers differentiated inpatient and outpatient services to provide comprehensive support to children, adolescents, young adults, and families.

• Three Residential Groups for Children: These provide a safe environment for children who need support and care.
• A Reception Group for Children: This group serves as an entry point for children who are getting used to a new environment.
• 5-Tage-Gruppe: This group is aimed at families who have to cope with special challenges.
• Jugendwohnprojekt: Here, young people are given the opportunity to develop in an independent environment.
• Four Mother-Father-Child Groups: These groups offer special support for parents and children.
• Stationäre Intensivwohngruppe: This is designed for children with particularly high needs.
• Two Kindertagesstätten: These offer care and support for a total of 130 children in Gelsenkirchen and Bochum-Wattenscheid.
• Ambulantes Jugendhilfezentrum Wattenscheid: Around 100 families receive socio-educational support here.
