The Finanzamt Neuwied is a local state authority of the Rhineland-Palatinate tax administration. It is responsible for the administration of taxes in the district of Neuwied, with the exception of customs duties and federally regulated excise taxes.
The main mission of the tax office is to manage taxes efficiently and fairly. It values Auftragsorientierung (task orientation), BĂĽrgerorientierung (citizen orientation), Wirtschaftlichkeit (efficiency) and Mitarbeiterorientierung (employee orientation). These values are reflected in the provision of flexible working conditions and diverse training.
The Finanzamt Neuwied participates in initiatives to promote diversity and tolerance by signing the Diversity Charter. It also offers flexible working models such as home office to improve the work-life balance of employees.
The Finanzamt Neuwied is currently involved in the implementation of the Grundsteuerreform (property tax reform), which will come into force in 2025. It also offers seminars for students to arouse interest in tax issues and to highlight career opportunities in the tax office.
