The
The Flüchtlingsrat Brandenburg is a non-governmental organization that has been active throughout Brandenburg since 1994. This organization brings together people with and without a refugee background, employees of welfare associations and counseling centers, churches, self-organizations of refugees, and political initiatives.
The main mission of the Flüchtlingsrat is to fight for a non-racist, solidarity-based society and to improve the living conditions of refugees. The Flüchtlingsrat advocates politically alongside refugees for their access to rights and for unrestricted social participation. The validity of human rights takes precedence for the Flüchtlingsrat over a policy of repelling refugees.
The Flüchtlingsrat is active statewide in civil society alliances and initiatives and participates in projects such as "TOGETHER WE STAY!" and "VASiB Project," which aim to promote the integration and participation of refugees. Through its work in these areas, the Flüchtlingsrat significantly contributes to improving living conditions and promoting the social integration of refugees.
