The Frühförderzentrum Solingen GmbH is an interdisciplinary institution dedicated to supporting and promoting the development of children and their families. The center supports children from birth to school entry who are affected by developmental abnormalities, delays, or (impending) disabilities.
The team at the Frühförderzentrum consists of experienced professionals from various disciplines, including pediatricians, special education teachers, psychologists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. The close collaboration of these experts ensures a holistic support concept that is individually tailored to the needs of each child.
The goal of early intervention is to stimulate age-appropriate development at all levels and to promote the participation of children in the social environment. The strengths and resources of the children are used and expanded to strengthen their personality, independence, ability to socialize, and personal skills.
The services of the Frühförderzentrum include both outpatient and mobile services that can take place on the center's premises, in the children's home environment, or in daycare centers. Close cooperation with the children's caregivers is a central component of the support concept in order to support a development-promoting relationship and everyday life.
The Frühförderzentrum Solingen GmbH sees itself as a partner of families and offers them advice, support and assistance throughout the support process. The team takes time for the parents' worries and fears and works together to develop ideas and opportunities to overcome challenges.
