The Garten- und Tiefbaubetriebe Lindau (GTL) are a municipal company of the city of Lindau, specializing in the planning, construction, maintenance, operation and care of public green spaces and civil engineering infrastructure. Founded in 2015, the GTL take over the tasks of the Garten- und Tiefbauamtes and the Stadtentwässerungswerke Lindau.
The main mission of the GTL is to improve and maintain the infrastructure and environmental quality in Lindau. They attach great importance to interdisciplinary cooperation and efficient use of resources.
The GTL are committed to sustainable solutions by using modern and environmentally friendly technologies. For example, their new administrative building is heated and cooled by an air-to-water heat pump, and there is a photovoltaic system on the roof for their own consumption. These measures contribute to reducing energy consumption and environmental impact.
The GTL have realigned their organizational structure and are divided into four main departments: GT-Projekte, GT-Abwasser, GT-Unterhalt and GT-Verwaltung. This structure promotes efficient collaboration and improves support for the technical departments.
The GTL offer their employees modern and sustainable workplaces in a new, central operating building. This building enables better communication and coordination of tasks and contributes to increasing efficiency.
