Gesundes Afrika

GESUNDES AFRIKA, an independent and non-profit organization for medicine and research in Africa, has been committed to improving healthcare in African countries since 1963. The central goal of the association is to support the African population, especially in rural areas, through better healthcare so that they can find ways out of poverty.

• Healthcare in Rural Areas: GESUNDES AFRIKA focuses on improving medical care in remote areas where access to health services is often limited.
• Training of Medical Personnel: The training and further education of local health personnel is a central aspect of the work to strengthen healthcare in the long term.
• Disease Prevention: Through prevention programs and educational work, efforts are made to prevent the spread of diseases and promote the overall health of the population.
• Food and Water Projects: In addition to healthcare, projects to improve food supply and water and hygiene standards are also carried out to enhance living conditions.
• Support for Women and Children: Special attention is given to healthcare and support for women and children, who are often particularly vulnerable groups.
