The ibs Institut für Berufs- und Sozialpädagogik is a non-profit education and private school provider in Northern Germany. The group includes the ibs Institut für Berufs- und Sozialpädagogik gGmbH and its subsidiaries gfp Gesellschaft für Pflege- und Sozialberufe gGmbH in Berlin and gfg Gesellschaft für Gesundheitsfachberufe gGmbH in Rostock.

• Training in Nursing and Education & Upbringing: The ibs Group operates five state-recognized vocational schools for training occupations in nursing and in the field of education & upbringing.
• Advanced Training and Seminars: Further training measures and seminars for professionals in the health & social sector are offered in the academies.

The main mission of ibs is to train and further educate qualified specialists in the fields of nursing and education. The focus is on social responsibility and a value-oriented working culture characterized by flexibility, employee development and commitment to social issues.

The company focuses on long-term, high-quality education and participates in projects to promote the mental health of children and adolescents. These initiatives reflect the commitment to social responsibility and sustainability.

The ibs was founded in 1983 and has been continuously developing ever since. Today, it focuses on training and further education in the health and social sectors. The trade, business, and crafts division was transferred to the Bildungszentren Grone Bremen in 2016 to strengthen the focus on health and social issues [3].

Through its dedicated work and participation in social projects, ibs contributes to the promotion of skilled workers and the strengthening of society.
