ginko Berlin gGmbH is a non-profit company based in Berlin that is dedicated to the socio-psychiatric care and reintegration of people with mental illnesses. Founded on July 1, 2003 as a cooperation project between the associations DIE BRÜCKE e.V. and Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (DRK) Kreisverband Spandau e.V., it has developed into an established provider of psychosocial services. Since 2018, the DRK Kreisverband Berlin-Zentrum e.V. has been involved as a 50 percent shareholder, which underlines the long-standing expertise of the partners in welfare and disability services.[1][3][9]

The focus is on promoting the reintegration of mentally ill, mentally impaired or intellectually disabled people into society, everyday life and the world of work.
