The Handwerkskammer Frankfurt-Rhein-Main is a corporation under public law that represents more than 32,000 entrepreneurs and 153,000 craftsmen from the Frankfurt-Rhein-Main metropolitan region. It offers comprehensive support services ranging from business start-up to business succession.
The main mission of the Handwerkskammer is to support its members through comprehensive services and to represent the interests of the craft. An important value is the promotion of education and innovation to strengthen the competitiveness of member companies.
A central sustainability project is the Campus for Vocational Education in Frankfurt-Rödelheim, a cooperation project with the city of Frankfurt. This campus is intended to become a future-oriented learning place where innovative educational concepts are developed and implemented. The chamber also supports amateur clubs in the youth sector to promote key competencies for future skilled workers.
The Handwerkskammer maintains several locations in the region, including main offices in Frankfurt and Darmstadt, as well as educational and technology centers in Frankfurt, Weiterstadt, and Bensheim. Additionally, it is represented in Brussels to advocate for the interests of its members at the European level.
