Hoffnungszeichen | Sign of Hope e.V. is a Christian-motivated human rights and aid organization that has been working worldwide for oppressed and exploited people since 1983. Based in Konstanz, Germany, the association operates on the values of charity, solidarity, and humanity.

• Human Rights: Hoffnungszeichen advocates for the rights of people whose rights are violated or threatened.
• Humanitarian Aid: The association provides emergency and disaster relief to mitigate the severe consequences of disasters and offer support to those affected.
• Sustainable Development Cooperation: Through long-term projects, Hoffnungszeichen promotes sustainable development in the focus countries, particularly in Central East Africa, with a focus on countries like Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, and South Sudan.

The goal is to create a future where the place of birth no longer determines a life of dignity. The association strives to give people worldwide the freedom to shape their lives independently and responsibly, without material need or oppression.

• Helping People: In emergencies, the association is on-site to provide immediate assistance and ensure that those affected can live in a dignified environment in the long term.
