    AGP Sozialforschung is a renowned institute that has been dedicated to social science research, consulting, and further education for over 36 years. As part of Interdisziplinären Care Forschung gGmbH (InCareFor), the focus is on applied care research with the aim of actively supporting demographic transformations and conducting innovative, policy-oriented research.

    The institute focuses on a variety of topics, including age, care, dementia, inclusion, participation, violence prevention, and palliative care. A particular focus is on the development and evaluation of new forms of housing for older people, people in need of care, and people with dementia. AGP Sozialforschung understands "age" not only as a biological process, but also as a socially constructed and culturally influenced phenomenon and questions prevailing images of aging.

    AGP Sozialforschung offers expertise in municipal and regional elderly care and social planning and understands this as a participatory process. The institute conducts citizen surveys and social space analyses and prepares elderly and social reports. Another focus is on strengthening the field of geriatric care through the analysis of the personnel situation and the development of strategies for personnel recruitment, retention and development.

    An important part of the work of AGP Sozialforschung is care and case management, the spread of which in Germany the institute has significantly promoted. AGP Sozialforschung is a member of the German Society for Care and Case Management (DGCC) and co-developed the magazine "Case Management".
