The Hüttenhospital gGmbH is a traditional hospital with more than 150 years of experience, which has established itself as a center for geriatric medicine in Dortmund-Hörde. It offers comprehensive medical care with a focus on Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Intensive Care Medicine. Annually, around 3,600 patients are treated on a full and partial inpatient basis, with a focus on the special health needs of people in the second half of life.
The main mission of the Hüttenhospital is to be a knowledgeable and compassionate partner for its patients. The focus is on the optimal care and support of each individual, with the needs of the patients at the center.
The Hüttenhospital places great importance on the health and well-being of its employees. In collaboration with the VIACTIV health insurance, a comprehensive health concept is implemented, which includes sports offerings, nutritional counseling, and stress prevention. This concept has already led to a positive change in team motivation and has been awarded the German Seal of Corporate Health (DSUG). Through such initiatives, the attractiveness of the hospital for new employees is increased and employee retention is promoted.
