The Informationsverbund Asyl und Migration e.V. is an association of organizations engaged in refugee and migration work. Our members include renowned organizations such as Amnesty International, Arbeiterwohlfahrt, Deutscher Caritasverband, Deutscher Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband, Deutsches Rotes Kreuz, Diakonie Deutschland, PRO ASYL, and the Zentralwohlfahrtsstelle der Juden in Deutschland. We also cooperate with UNHCR and other important partners.
Our common goal is to make relevant information accessible for counseling and decision-making practices in the field of asylum and migration. We are committed to providing factual information and avoid political statements. Our work focuses on preparing publicly available decisions and reports in a way that ensures uncomplicated and low-threshold access for all involved.
Our information portal was last comprehensively revised and redesigned in 2022, thanks to funding from the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth as part of the federal program "Counseling and Support for Foreign Refugees." This revision has allowed us to better tailor our services to the needs of our users.
The Informationsverbund Asyl und Migration e.V. is a central point of contact for anyone dealing with questions of asylum and residence law or integration in Germany. Through our work, we contribute to ensuring that refugees and their supporters receive the necessary information and resources to live and work successfully in Germany.
